If you have experienced the Kingdom of God and the gift of freedom from sin, you probably have a person (or 10) in mind who you want to experience that same freedom. Most likely, there’s a couple people who aren’t just on your mind, but feel as though they are in your heart. You don’t just want them to experience God’s freedom, you yearn for them to encounter it. In today’s blog, Fit & Flourish President shares a story of yearning for a friend to encounter God’s freedom and what can come of the persistent prayer and faith.
Profiles that should a persons personality traits, strengths, and spiritual gifts can be really helpful…but only if the person has help understanding what the results mean to their real life. That’s where coaching comes into play. Good coaches will take those profile results and walk through them with the person, seeking to help them fully understand the results. In today’s blog, we present four pointers for coaching someone through their profile results.
Inviting someone to come to church with you is intimidating. We believe that because we think the person may say no, or worse, mock us for being a “churchy person”. However, people are much more open to conversations about spiritual life than we think…especially if the person inviting them is already a friend, someone they trust. Today’s blog looks at some statistics on just this topic that may be the boost we all need to invite a friend to church.
God is constantly working in and through us but our decisions can affect how much of that work people can see. Jesus warns us to be careful of what kind of fruit we produce, as well as the fruit of those who surround us. Are you letting God’s work fully shine through, or are you blocking it?
